You cannot be enrolled in both Optimize Your Charge and Charging Perks simultaneously. If you have applied for or are enrolled in both programs, here's what will happen:
Charging Perks takes priority - You will remain enrolled in Charging Perks
Optimize Your Charge enrollment will be denied or cancelled - Your application will be denied if pending, or you'll be exited from the program if already enrolled
What's the difference between these programs?
Charging Perks is Xcel Energy's active managed charging option that:
Automatically optimizes your charge according to your charging needs and preferences
Schedules your car to charge when renewable energy is most abundant
Optimize Your Charge is an EV program that:
Observes your EV charging patterns
Ensures you charge during your designated charging window
Provides guidance but doesn't actively manage charging

New Mexico
Charging Perks: $50 sign-up bonus + $70 annual participation incentive
